Visual Caption Head
Muriel Hague is very excited to be heading up the 2017 visual program at Genesis. This will be her 4th year working with the corps, having previously worked with both the visual and music side of the corps as a Mellophone Tech, a Visual Tech, and Choreographer. While working with Genesis, she has seen the corps make an enormous amount of progress within the activity and is looking to take the corps to the next level of performance.
Muriel began her drum corps career marching with the Colts in 2010 and 2011. She also marched with the Bluecoats in 2012 and aged out with the corps in 2013. Since then, she has worked with Genesis and has also worked as a Visual Tech/Choreographer for several competitive marching bands around the country, including Spring High School in Spring, TX and several bands in Kansas and Nebraska. In addition to working with marching bands, she is also a Visual Consultant for Violet Crown Independent, an indoor percussion group based out of San Marcos, TX.
Muriel is a Kansas City, KS native, but recently moved down to Texas to start her career as a band director. She currently resides in the North Houston area where she works as an assistant band director in Humble ISD at Riverwood Middle School.
