The Genesis WINTER RAFFLE was a huge success!

Thank you to all of those who supported our program by buying a ticket from one of our members or online.  We were able to raise a great amount of funding to our summer scholarship program as well as for our summer needs.  The membership and staff worked very hard to make this one of our best fundraisers to date.

The drawing was held on Sunday Feb. 19th and the winners will be contacted personally by the Members who's tickets were drawn.  Once this is done we will post the names publicly.  Congratulations to those supporters that won and we hope you enjoy the rewards.

March Camp is approaching quickly!

It seems that the off season is moving at a very rapid pace and March camp will be here before we know it!  The March Rehearsal camp is going to be held on the campus of PSJA Memorial High School in Alamo Texas.  Memorial is the home of many of our current and past members as well as the VP of our Board Mr. Michael Murray and we are very pleased to be returning to this campus!

This is a Brass and Percussion rehearsal camp, however all members are encouraged to attend.

Genesis is still looking to fill a few open Brass spots for the 2012 season in the Euphonium and Tuba sections.

Please refer to our Camps and Events page for more details...

Help Genesis achieve it's 2012 goals

Dear Genesis Supporter,

In only our 3rd season, Genesis has seen tremendous growth and achievement.  Our former members are seeing great success within their own programs and schools and a family has been formed in just a short amount of time.  The support we have gained over the past two years has been equally as successful!

The corps travels nearly 6,000 miles, serves 400 meals daily, and provides housing, uniforms, instruments, equipment and high-quality instruction to our members for over 2 months.  Just to feed the corps everyday costs nearly $800 per day!  By relying on volunteers and fundraising efforts throughout the year, Genesis can afford it's students this incredible experience for almost half the cost of the current DCI average.

With your help last season we were able to raise the funds necessary to purchase an invaluable Equipment Trailer as well as the uniforms and percussion instruments necessary for our growth in membership.  As our program continues to grow, so do our needs and we require proper tools and items to provide the highest level of education and health for our members and staff.  A
food trailerappliances and addition instruments are the priority items on this list for 2012.  These items are a necessity and will ensure the sustainability and growth we need to provide our students with the best possible tools to succeed.

Please help Genesis and it's members achieve their goals.  Your tax deductible donation will go a long way in helping us provide these necessary tools to our members.  Any donation is a valuable one, whether it be $500 or $5, you will be helping a tremendous group of students and young educators and will help Genesis provide this opportunity for years to come.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Arts programs across the country!
